“This really is a great way to get exposed Lipari and Volcano. The views approaching the islands are spectacular and the length of time spent on each island was perfect. On Lipari, we enjoyed the sights and had a nice leisurely lunch. On Vulcano, we rented quads and toured the entire island. It was great fun and a perfect day. I will definitely recommend it to other friends when they visit me. The sea was a little choppy and the sea splash was a bit much for some, but you can't control it and we actually enjoyed it!”

“Excellent day trip superb tour leader (your description said none would be on the tour so an excellent addition. Small party of 17 people in a comfortable minibus. Tour leader, Nicola gave a brilliant description of the history of Sicily in English and Italian, plus detailed info on each of the historic sights visited. Only negative was the short stay at Segesta, this was rushed as the shuttle bus to the amphitheater ran every half hour, increasing the stay would be better if 30 minutes longer. Erice and the Salt Pans stops were good.”

I know you can take an audio guided tour, however, an audio guide can’t answer a question that may arise and she was terrific. The Valley of the Temples is a beautiful, historic, place that inspires awe and wonder. I encourage anyone considering this tour to take it.
