“We always try to do a food tour when we visit somewhere new because it helps to give a sense of a place and it's culture, which is pretty much always deeply connected to the local food. This tour did not disappoint! Salvo was a fantastic guide - incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his home city, its history and food. Everything we tasted was delicious, the portions were very good and we left with full tummies and big smiles. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend.”

Our guide, Gisela, was deeply versed in Catania's cultural, geological, and culinary history. As a chef herself, she took the time to explain how each dish was prepared. She had a genuine love for Catania and it's culinary delights, and was a skilled and enthusiastic guide.”

“My husband and I took this food tour in Palermo and really enjoyed it. Chefs Salvatore and Leidia were fun to be with and taught us a lot. It was well organized. We took a visit to the nearby market and then made arancini, fresh pasta, ragu and cannoli. The 12 students were lovely and from Croatia, Turkey, Scotland, Germany and US. One of our favorite activities in Palermo!”
