“The kitchen setup was quite minimal and didn’t feel very inviting. The air conditioning was underpowered for the space. The cooking activity lacked creativity and didn’t include any meat. Equipment was outdated. The host wasn’t particularly engaging. Two staff members were speaking loudly in Italian for the first 20 minutes, which made it hard to follow the host’s instructions. The final dish was heavily salted. Wine wasn’t offered upfront—we had to ask for it, unlike most other classes I’ve attended. Overall, the experience felt pretty underwhelming.”

“Volevo mettere 5, ma ci sono degli aspetti da non sottovalutare che potrebbero davvero migliorare. Intanto non è necessario arrivare almeno mezz’ora prima, il servizio è veloce alla cassa e rischi di aspettare mezz’ora. Ottimo il traghetto e le Piscine molto belle, un’esperienza fuori dal comune. Come però fuori dal comune la parte docce. Esterne fredde, all’interno una singola doccia ricavata dentro un bagno, aspetti molto. No Phon o prodotti per lavarsi, in un resort sul benessere mi aspetterei un livello diverso dal lido di paese. La cena di ottima qualità, anche in paragone con il prezzo. Aldilà di gusti e voracità, piatti di qualità magari poco abbondanti ma sicuramente…”

We had such a very special time with them both. They were the perfect hosts! We enjoyed helping Salvina make the pasta and learnt lots about the traditional Sicilian food. We sat down and had a wonderful 4 course meal with Salvina and her husband washed down with homemade wine and homemade Limoncello. It was ‘perffecto’!”
