“We spent an afternoon at Augustali meeting the animals and tasting some wines, olive oil and Sicilian foods. Beatriz showed us around, and was absolutely lovely. She was very responsive throughout the booking process, and when we sadly had to reduce our booking numbers due to family illness, and really welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. We were greeted with some wine and water, then went to meet the farm's bees and tasted the homemade honey sweets that the farm make from their honey, which were delicious! “We were at Guiseppe's plantation today, and it was one of the most enjoyable excursions of our vacation. He took plenty of time to explain his plantation and the special characteristics of the olive, blood orange, and almond trees. He also gave us an insight into the history of the farm and his family. We topped it all off with a tasting of his olive oil—it's so delicious! The blood orange salad was also a real highlight! It's definitely worth a visit! We'd love to go again!”

We were also lucky to do it in the days when the volcano emitted some puffs, and the day was splendid.Our guide Piera was exceptional, prepared and nice. Very nice also the visit to the cave. Excellent food experience, I have problems with food intolerances (I advised during the booking), I was prepared a separate dish with great food, bread and gluten-free rusks.”
